This EASTER season I have been focusing on the Serenity Prayer. 

 I’m sure you’ve heard the first couple of lines a million times…

but have you read this prayer in its entirety? 

 God, grant me

The serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

The courage to change the things I can;

The wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace;

Taking, as HE did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that HE will make all things right if I surrender to His will;

That I may be reasonably happy this this life, and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

 

I hope that the miracle of this season shines in your heart today and always.

I sure am going to miss these little fellas.

I can’t believe after my last PEEPS post how many people said they didn’t like the taste of these guys??  WHAT? I must be the only one with an out-of-control sweet tooth.  I’ll take a box of peeps ANYDAY over a chocolate Easter bunny.

 

Last peep thought of the season: I can GUARANTEE you will see this idea on my blog next year: PEEP SUSHI (found via the fabulous One Pretty Thing).  One year, seriously folks, I almost took peeps into our local sushi restaurant to ask if they could make me peep sushi for April Fools day.  Then I chickened out.  NEXT YEAR I’ll just make my own.

K, I’m going to run to the store and buy just one more box.
